International Gliding Meteng in AVRO!

The Rivoli di Osoppo airfield (LIKH) will host the Spring Glider Camp 2025, an event dedicated to gliding enthusiasts, organized to revive this tradition in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Following the success of the “Glider Day” in July 2024, which attracted 23 pilots, the upcoming rally promises to be even more ambitious.

The event, scheduled from April 4 to April 12, 2025, coincides with the best season for soaring in Friuli. Thanks to a partnership with Flugring Wiener Neustadt, 15 Austrian pilots have already confirmed their participation. The participation fee for the 8-day event is €50, ensuring professional service.

Facilities and Services:

• Two runways (asphalt and grass), Clubhouse, briefing room, and radio service.
• Camping options with bathrooms, showers, and the OPEN Air bar-restaurant.
• Courtesy cars and electric bikes for local transport.

A Unique Flying Zone:

Participants will explore the “Parcours Friulano”, featuring routes that range from flatland to mountain flying, including the Carnic Alps, Gail Valley, and Pusteria Valley.

The event is open to pilots with a valid license, who can also take advantage of affiliated accommodations. Paolo Marcutti will be delighted to welcome all aviation enthusiasts for an unforgettable gliding experience.
